InventionHome® Product Developer Creates Anchored, Adjustable Window Display System for Potted Plants

MENDOCINO, CA, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Steven C. of Mendocino, CA is the creator of the Green Window of Life. Green Window of Life is a newly developed, unique, one of its kind anchored display system designed to support and organize multiple potted plants in an open window.

Green Window of Life’s configuration provides a functional advantage beyond plant display. Individual support sections can be repositioned to optimize exposure to natural light, for photosynthesis and accommodate different plant sizes.

Key features and benefits include:

• Stable window anchoring and tool-free installation: Anchors in an open window without requiring any tools; no drilling, no screws and no permanent hardware.
• Torsion-based support structure: Vertical holding bars establish opposing anchor points for the plants with support framework.
• Adjustable plant holders: Individual holders can be repositioned along the horizontal adjustable arms to create customized plant arrangements. It gives the opportunity to create an individual design enhancing living space. It gives the person the freedom and ability to create their own configuration of plants and colors giving them the warmth and arrangement that enhances wellbeing.
• Multiple-plant capacity: Each horizontal arm can accommodate several individual plant holders. There can be up to three circular plant holders supported on each half of an arm depending on the configuration; meaning the length of the arms and size of plant holders.
• Approximately 180-degree movement: Enables portions of the movable arm to be moved away from the window when access is desired; or opening or closing windows, blinds or curtains/drapes, etc. without undo effort.

The unique features are being able to move the plants away from the window. The arms in the can be shorter for visibility; framing the window in greenery while allowing window views. This display can be easily modified as growing conditions or user preferences change.

Other benefits are physical and environmental. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release, clean oxygen. Plants release moisture through a process called evapotranspiration which helps to dry indoor air in addition to adding color, texture and life to empty windows.

Indoor plants improve your health, boost your mood and enhance your living space. Plants are known to lower stress. Greenery helps fight mental fatigue, which improves concentration and productivity. Being close to nature makes people feel more peaceful, positive and satisfied.

Traditional methods of displaying potted plants often require available windowsill, counter, table, or floor space. Hanging systems may require permanent modifications to walls, ceilings, or other building surfaces. In environments with limited space, even several plants can create clutter. Plants and flowers positioned in accessible locations may be vulnerable to accidental contact or from being knocked over. This invention provides a flexible approach to organizing multiple potted plants within a confined residential home, office, or other interior space.

This system incorporates a pair of independent vertical anchoring bars positioned on opposite sides of a window opening. The vertical bars can be adjusted to accommodate any window size. Each vertical bar utilizes a torsion-based anchoring mechanism with anchor elements at its upper and lower ends to secure the structure in the window.

Once installed, multiple horizontal arms extend between the vertical supports at selected heights. The horizontal arms serve as mounting rails for individual potted plant holders, with each holder secured using a nut-and-bolt fixture. The holders can be repositioned along the horizontal arms and adjusted.

This can made of wood or many other materials to accommodate interior design and color.
