- Now open in Carousel Court, Tiny’s Burger from acclaimed Chef Sang Yoon, founder of the cult-favorite Los Angeles restaurant Father’s Office, reinterprets the classic American burger stand with an Asian twist. ENTERTAINMENT + EVENINGS OUT: An expanded calendar of performances makes it easy to pair dinner with a show.
- Adjacent to South Coast Plaza, Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (July 11–25), The Phantom of the Opera (August 12–30) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (September 22–October 11).
- Just across the bridge, the UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art presents three exhibitions this summer: Raymond Saunders: Flowers from a Black Garden, a survey spanning more than five decades of the artist’s work; Staging California in Early Hollywood, exploring the relationship between Southern California painters and early Hollywood filmmaking; and Collection Dialogues, showcasing selections from the museum’s newly united permanent collection. Admission is always free, with extended Friday hours until 8 p.m. featuring free tours, artmaking and more.
- The Arts District Sculpture Walk, a self-guided tour installed throughout the property, features works by internationally recognized artists including Joan Miró, Isamu Noguchi, Richard Serra and Henry Moore.
SUMMER FOR FAMILIES: The season also brings plenty for younger guests, from hands-on cooking classes to longtime favorites.
