NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Daikin U.S. Corporation today announced that leaders from its North American and global business will participate in multiple events during Climate Week NYC 2026, bringing together perspectives on the evolving energy landscape and the role of technology in meeting growing demand.
As a Climate Group Gold Partner, Daikin will have a prominent presence throughout the week, including The Hub Live at Climate Week NYC and at a range of related discussions and gatherings throughout New York City. Across these engagements, Daikin leaders will address electrification, HVAC efficiency, refrigerant management, and resilient buildings with a focus on advancing practical solutions for changing energy needs.
David Calabrese, Executive Vice President of Daikin U.S. Corporation, will join global leaders in the first Hub Live Flagship Session, “Strait Talk, Reality Check: How Do We Keep the Lights on in an Uncertain World?” on Monday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at The Glasshouse. The discussion will explore how smarter energy management, building technologies, and innovation can help address rising electricity demand and strengthen grid reliability.
“In order to meet growing energy needs, we can’t just produce more energy. We need to rethink our usage so we can allocate the energy we have more intelligently,” said Calabrese. “As more buildings electrify, efficient HVAC technologies and smarter energy management can help customers manage demand and support a more reliable grid. That’s where we believe technology can make a real difference.”
